meet nicole

Hey girl! I’m so glad you’ve landed here! I’m Nicole: mom, wife, travel-lover, Texan at heart but Upstate NY living now (go Bills!). Once upon a time I wore the hats of middle school math teacher & travel advisor. 

After teaching, I became a stay at home mom and lost my pink for a while. I longed to let my creativity flow and business-mind thrive, while maintaining a home-life balance. It took a while, and a few bumps in the road, but I finally got my pink back doing what I love. 

These days, you’ll find me trying new recipes in the kitchen and sharing the good ones on my blog, catching up on the books on my bookshelf, learning the ropes homestead (it’s a journey y’all) and focusing on slowing down and being PRESENT at home and in life. It’s taken me 30-something years, but I think I’ve finally learned what it’s really about is doing what brings you joy and peace. 

Okay okay, I’ll always keep things real. Part of me will always love to light up my business brain, so I’m sure there is something in the works- but you’ll just have to stay tuned to see what’s coming next. For now, let's enjoy our season of peace and cozy kitchens ;)
