Book Club: Mile High: Windy City Series

Hey readers!

This is one I definitely did not want to put down, but did not want to finish at the same time if you know what I mean. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and as I neared the end of the book, I just knew I wasn’t going to want to let them go.

The romance takes place in Chicago- and I’ll be honest, it’s as cliche as it gets. Bad boy athlete is challenged by the only girl who won’t give him the time of day. Lots of character development here that will have you falling for all the characters. This romance is 4 stars for me. I laughed, I cried, and there were several steamy sessions (so if that’s not your thing, opt out of this series). Overall a great, fun, lighthearted read - but just got a bit too cliche and predictable towards the end for my liking.

Liz Tomforde introduces several characters along the way that have me eager to learn more about them, their stories, and what lays ahead in their futures. As readers, we are just in luck because Liz has created the Windy City Series to do just that.

While Ryan is a great brother to Stevie, there is a lot of mystery to unpack there. And Indy? As nice as can be, we love her early on but are eager to learn more. Book 2 of the series features their stories, and while I just started last night, I’m eager to learn more about these two characters.

Oh and if you are a bit sad about leaving Stevie and Zanders behind, no worries there! I was excited to see them make appearances early on in book 2. Stay tuned for my full review!
